RATIONALE
At Southway, we encourage our children to become independent, confident and responsible users of technology. With technology playing such a significant role in society today, we intend to engage children in an ambitious computing environment in order to prepare them for a rapidly changing world. Our knowledge rich curriculum enables the opportunity for children to apply their knowledge creatively, which in turn will help our children become skilled computer scientists. Through computing, we aim for our children to be confident when using a range of different technologies and in a variety of different skills including computing, programming, online safety and the use of a range of media.
